Lilac in Winter, Available March 2019!

It's been three years since I released my last novel, The Last Letter, and what a whirlwind it has been! I've been both creatively inspired and found myself in creative slumps, but the passion for storytelling has continuously urged me onward.

Like my other works, Lilac in Winter began with a character whispering her story, her voice growing stronger and stronger until I finally picked up the pen one March afternoon. I wrote the first draft of this novel in three weeks, Lilac's voice so clear and her story so strong that I couldn't rest until her story was told. I've since spent the past two years with these characters, polishing their words to ensure I do their story justice.

I'm so excited to be ready to share it with the world. It's a book that has made me laugh, made me cry, and made me fall in love with life again and again. Toni Morrison once said that we need to write the book we wish to read. My first two books, Gold in the Days of Summer and The Last Letter, were the books I needed to write. Lilac in Winter is that book I've wanted to read. I hope that you enjoy it as much as I do.

You'll also find information on how to pre-order before our official release date and how to get personalized, signed copies.

For our first sneak peek, check out a preview from the book!

Thank you for your continued support over the years. Even as a writer, I can't express just how much it means to me.

With love,

Susan
